I thought it's bad luck to whistle (not just to music) after sun's down... I think it's because supposely it would attract "things you can't see"...
Same as having an umbrella open under the roof (because "things can't be seen" could hide under the umbrella).
Yea, I heard this has something to do with snakes - that you'll invite snakes into houses if you whistle.
